Band Camp
Attendance at Band Camp is MANDATORY unless prior arrangements are made in advance with Band Director. Students are to report to the band room and will learn the marching that goes with the music they learned during Summer Rehearsals.
Dinner will be provided for all Saxon Regiment students. We will ask families to donate desserts for the students. Please eat a substantial breakfast and lunch before coming to Band Camp each day.
On Friday, August 16th, family members are invited to Family Preview Night where we will get to see all that the students learned throughout the summer.
Bring to camp
Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses (optional), water jug, light jacket for evening, towel
Band
Instrument, flip folder, lyre; mouthpieces, reeds and sticks/mallets
*Please wear breathable clothes (no skin tight jeans or leather).
*Footwear suitable for marching: no flip flops, no sandals, no high-top sneakers, no slip-on shoes, no boots (tennis shoes or sneakers only)
Color Guard
Water, tennis shoes, jazz shoes for indoors, towel to stretch on ground, rifle gloves, appropriate clothes for stretching
